Too Good To Be True?
Hey X'ers... found this on AutoTrader.
A 05 PSD X with 7K miles for $27K... can you smell something fishey?

I did a Carfax and found it was last sold to Mac Haick Ford in Texas... notice the yellow plates? I've been searching trucks so much on ebay that I know that Mac Haick uses yellow plates in their ads.

Something does look fishy
According to Carfax
4/15/06 - titled in Brentwood, CA
4/18/06 - Sold to Mac Haik Ford (Houston, TX)
8/14/06 - Titles again in Brentwood, CA
Also, the private seller is listed in Flemington, NJ?
Something doesn't make sense. Plus, the price is way way under book.

That's about 5000 less then the KBB value,,might just be a great deal but I would have it professionally checked out before you buy it.

The car is in excellent condition and has no bad history. Sorry for not answering my phone number now, because of health problems. Will appreciate to discuss via e-mail.
I must sell this car via escrow, because of my creditors. Once we start the deal via escrow the car will be hold for you. You're welcomed with more questions.

Contacted same seller on Feb 15. Was listed as priv. seller and if you look at pix , it looks to be sitting at a dealer lot? I said ok lets meet in person for exchange, no response after that. Person was from New Hampshire then.
