well, she got hired on at another restraunant, logans roadhouse. 25 question food handling test and a short interview and some OSHA stuff, they called today, she starts friday evening.

the other restraunant was the cracker barrel. the questions were 100% diversity questions, come on now, 50 or so questions over the NAACP? give me a break.

but hey, its their restraunant, they can do what they want, i have zero care, i don't even eat there.

cheers!

Just make sure she's not working for PEANUTS!

Tell her good luck on the new job! Now I'll have to find out which 1 she's working at,,,,, To avoid!

Thats probably because 99% of all issues they have deal with 'diversity' issue between customers or employees. After seeing this piece of information, she should have told them to stuff it as soon as she saw question one or told them diversity/PC is what runs countries into the ground.

Congrats on the wife's job. Sounds like she will do well there.

I have heard some bad things about Cracker Barrel how they treat their help at closing time (I am not sure that it is true though.). I think that she made the best choice.

oh no, not my wife, her friend, but thanks.

yea, my wife was thinking about it, thats why i took more interst in this than normal, but yea, she also said that they have a whole list of things to do during the evening shift and at closing.

we, both my wife and i, would like to work, but all there is around here are service jobs like server positions and such. any retail position has a huge waiting list or you have to know someone to get hired.

oh well, thats what the gi bill and college loans and savings are for.

logans roadhouse sounds like a much livelier place than cracker barrel!

i went into a cracker barrel once but before i could get a table (there was a line for some reason...) i saw a couple of their trays of food go by.. we bolted for the door right then and there....uggh
