I have 3 gauges I'd like to mount in my 07 F150, problem is they were going to go into my 01 diesel F250 but i traded it in for this 07 F150. Can i use a pyrometer, boost and trans autometer gauges in my gas F150? Im obviously not a gearhead as you can see by my question!!

The Trans gauge is the only one I can see keeping... Of course you'll need to find or acquire all the necessary wiring and hardware to adapt it to the new 150 though.
I was just mainly referring to the wiring/hardware that should be with the gauge. I couldn't tell you right off hand if the mounting locations for the sender, plug-ins and wires would be different.
Electrical: A sender is located in the engine, which based on the value in reads (say 32 PSI of oil pressure or 168* of water temperature) sends a set value (voltage) back to the computer and to the gauge. So the gauge receives nothing but an electrical signal, which it then turns into a display on the gauge.
Mechanical: The gauge physically is moved or effected by the thing it's reading. It will continue to read whether power is available to the gauge or not. Oil pressure gauges are physically moved by the actual pressure of the oil rather than an electrical signal. Or your boost gauge for example, blow into the fitting that accepts the line on the back of the gauge, it will cause the gauge to move up a few PSI. It's mechanical.
Here's a few mechanical gauges in my truck, oil pressure and water temp:
