Has anyone done a Serpentine system on a flathead? I just finished mine and am open for a critic? File is too large so had to go to the Gallery to upload.

If you can see the turnbuckle then you should be able to see the belt, it's there. I can't find a tensioner that will work and still look nice so I came up with the idea to use the turnbuckle between the water pump and the bottom of the A/C compressor. Once the engine is in the PU I'm hoping it won't even be visible from the top. The only other way would be to move the Alt bracket up or down to take up the slack. There is a nice tensioner on the SB single setup from Posi-Trak, but they won't sell just the tensioner by itself.

Have you looked into any of the production tensioners that the auto mfg offer?
Maybe you can modifiy one of them.
I wonder if the turnbuckle is going to move the A/C comp out or is it just going to piviot about the rear mounting bolt and not keep tension on the belt. You really do need to keep constant tension on the belt.
I also wonder if there is enough belt wrap on the alt and the left water pump. Just something to think about.
Just one thing to consider if your using stock water pumps with bushings will will have to keep the belt somewhat slack. They did this from the factory to reduce the pumps from wearing out.
