I would say that a boost gauge is a must. It is nice to know what everything is running at when the truck is running normal, so if you ever have a problem you can be more informed on things. I think that a trans temp gauge is good as well and it is not a big expense cause you are already buying a pillar pod and the gauge is fairly inexpensive.
You Know After Installing My Tru-cool I Must Admit That The Trans Gauge Is Very Boring And Kinda Not Needed (with That Said If Something Is About To Give And You Can See A Temp Difference All Of A Sudden....) But I Would Say Pyro For Sure, Boost For Fun, And Trans For Blah....
I would get trans and boost. When my trans started acting up, i knew it right off the bat, when the needle buried past 250* i knew i was done for. I also went to the woodward dream cruise, which is bumper to bumper traffic and i was watchin my trans temp and it went up to 200* and i knew i had to stop showin off. The boost gauge will also tell you when problems are starting.
Thanks for the replies, the boost is a definate now and I'm still in the air on the trans. Thanks.
For you guys with the DP, does the remote come with the chip for the price listed with the chip, or does it cost $40 extra like their site seems to imply?
