mechanic with a v10 problem
i,m a mechanic at a small shop in FL. i,ve got a 01 F250 w/v10 it came in with a missfire ran the scanner on it came up with cyl.#7 unpluged coils one at a time to check sure-enough #7 no change , pulled the plug changed same missfire , went back and changed coil , ran fine next morning test drove it down the road 10 min later come back ready to park it starts to miss worse then ever hook scanner up no codes go to mode 6 # 53 watch for miss all good , park it overnight try again next day same 10 min good then miss no time to touch it that day next morn try it again wont hardly run dies everytime shift into gear get it up to the door hook scanner all kinds of codes for trans and o2's .
what is going on here ?
