Lift Pump Arms

the lift pump I just pulled out has a crooked arm. the one I bought has a fairly straight arm. I've heard of this difference before, is this an upgrade or do I have the wrong pump??

The new style pumps have an almost straight arm.
It should also have instructions about installation.
Installing it wrong can damage the pump.

I did a forum search and found that yes the pump would work. turned the motor over till the drive lobe was up out of the way and it went in slick. thanks twice Dave, as it was an old post of yours I referenced.
