power locks
Have a 2007 F-150 with manual locks. How hard would it be to install power locks with keyless entry. No experience in electronics. Where would I find
power locks. Dealer wanted $750 and I thought I could do it myself or have it done cheaper.

A-1 Electric is who I went with.... I paid 280$ for the power window (direct bolt-in) and the Keyless entry lock kit. I'm sure you could use a physical switch too. If you want the lock kit alone, I'm sure they don't run over $120+/-

That is who I went with also. They have great prices and a good selection. Best think about going with power windows also if you do not already have them. Will save ya time in the long run to do it because you only have to take the door panel off once. I also changes my front speakers and installed a tweeter where the door crank was FYI. Just some Ideas.

I bought my actuators on ebay for ~$5 each with relays to add power locks. I also bought a Ford OEM keyless entry system on ebay for ~$50. If I were to do it again, I would just buy a Code-alarm system. It takes some time to sort out the wiring but it's not terribly hard. Entire setup was under $100 and I'm 100% satisfied with mine.

I went back and looked at my invoice... the lock kit w/ Keyless entry and the switch option (sw. are 5$ ea.?) 78.99. Prices fluctuate I'm sure with everyone depending on stock and new/old models along with options.
