can you look up a cople numbers for me one is dipstick tube for and 80-81 f ? with a 351/400m and a dip stick tube for a 85 f250 with a 460 are they the same? i would just measure but the one on my 60 is broke and missing a piece.both should be for a 4x4

It makes no difference whether either application is 2WD or 4WD, but the tubes will not interchange between the 351M/400 & 460 engines.
EDIT 1:23 PST: I'm not Dennis, but >>> C8SZ-6754-A dipstick tube will NOT fit any 460 truck engine after 1979.
I wish I knew 1% of what Dennis knows about electrics. He is unsurpassed when it comes to electrical information.
As slow as microfiche slides can be, they are still much faster than any parts book on a CD. It also helps when the user knows over 30,000 basic Ford parts numbers, and what sections in the books relate to what.
