I'm about to replace spark plugs in 2000 navigator 5.4L. Serv CD says to use AWSF32P. At local store the motorcraft catalog says AGSF32PM (which I bought). Also at motorcraft.com both are shown depending on how you do a search. I cannot find a description of the difference and which is really correct.
Well they are both correct for your Gator . But it all depends on which motor you have.
If you have a 32 valve motor you need the AWSF32P . And for the 16 valve motor you need AGSF32PM.

I sure don't know which is right---the motorcraft catalog says AGSF32PM for the 32V Nav engine! I thought the 16V Expedition engines used a plug with the number 22 in it.
Guess I will have to call the dealer---I have not found anyone that sells the AWSF32P plugs--so I assumed the motorcraft catalog was saying the AGSF32PM replaced it.

Confusing to say the least
2V 5.4L's use a colder heat range plug(the 22 is the heat range on the plugs) than the 4V engines(which use a 32).

Great--that makes sense but that implies that 'thecardoc' in a note above is incorrect. So then is our best knowledge that the AWSF32P has been changed to AGSG32PM and that is the correct plug for my 2000 Nav with 32V engine, or do you know?

Thanks
The 4.6L's use the 32 range plug, and the 5.4L's use the 22 range. 5.4L 4V's use the 32 range. I personally use the 22 range in my 4V Navi, and a colder 12 range in both my F150 and Tbird which are 4.6L 2V's.
