Today I found the original Material Build Sheet in my 89 XLT. It was under the carpet in the rear, just forward of the tailgate.
Anyone know if there is a list, somewhere, that shows what all the codes mean? I know the major items, engine, axle, etc, but all the misc codes are a real mystery.
If I were you I would just contact one of the Ford factory sites. I believe that the St. Louis factory is where the Bronco was assembled - may be wrong.
Now I'll probably have to tear up my carpet to look for a build sheet.
I contacted the Ford Customer Service Center and they wouldn't or couldn't give me the codes to the build sheet but did offer to answer specific questions on the truck. I asked them if it came with a towing package and they said it did, turns out they were right to.
