I was challenged..
DEFINETLY convinced me!
DEFINETLY convinced me!My 1995 Blazer has the 4.3l V6, and it has 195 HP!!! This either had the 5.0L V8(230 HP) or the 5.7L V8(255 HP)
It's also not about horsepower, anyway. Both trucks had all 4 wheels spinning, which means that they already were putting the most power to the ground that they could...did not depend on engine power at that point.
BTW...a 4.3 V6 would NOT have spun all 4 tires on a truck of that size.....
DEFINETLY convinced me!from what i seen both trucks had enough power to spinn all 4 tires....even if it's a stock small block it still would be like 260 hp and 330 ish torque.....and from the looks of the truck i seriously doubt it's stock....
sounds like to me that your more of a GM fan than a FORD fan....and thats fine but you can't dispute the fact that the Ford pulled that chevy all over the place...
2. 350 small block.
3. 6" lift with 35x14x15 IROK rubber
4. at least a 1500, but looking at the leafs, is a 2500
both trucks had dual exhaust, but I'd bet the Ford was mostly stock. He did have a different hood. Chevy most likely had a cam, intake, headers, maybe head work.
that being said, he sure did get his @ss handed to him.
I can't believe how easily the Ford janked that Chevy backwards with it's brakes on. Those IROKs do not have good traction on the pavement, but I'd bet on the same outcome even if the Chevy had street tires.oh and for those that say it's unfair for the Chevy since it sits higher, well where is the force being applied? in a downward direction. so actually, the chevy is kinda getting more "weight" put in the rear end. reverse is true for the Ford.

here is another vid.....it would have been really cool if the ford won this one....it took what looks like not one but 2 GMC's to pull the one F-150 and the F-150 sure puts up a good fight...
race what you brought is what we go buy around here... no excuses. you bring a knife to a gunfight, don't expect to be the winner. it's common sense.

The 04-07 Models have more power, more weight, which only equals better pulling power.
The Chevy 5.3s don't have much to compare too.
I've had several challenges while in my dad's truck, and know I would of won all of them, but just couldn't do it(b/c it's my dad's truck, and IF somthing breaks I'm ******).
