Old Navy

Seems Old Navy has captured one of our trucks!

Here's some more pictures

51panelman is working on rescuing it. I don't care about all the Chevy trucks in the stores but we don't leave any Fords behind!

As long as it has the 239 or 215, I'm happy.

There's no drivetrain in it.

I just thought of something. Your flathead collection is incomplete as you do not currently own a 226 Flathead I-6! Too bad they were never in any Canadian built trucks so you would have to import one from the U.S.A.

I`ve always liked the V8`s much better than the six`s, just something about the V8 sound and power.

I don't got a flathead six at all no 215, or 226's.

I'm not sure about mall/restaurant trucks. Yes sure they aren't on the road but on the other hand many many people who would not ordinary see a 51 1 ton or a 49 1/2 ton like at Montana's get to see them and hopefully appreciate them. A truck like that if some kids climb over it and have fun and appreciate the old metal, thats ok for me.

In saying this if anyone ever gets the urge to go and save the 1949 pickup at Montanas on 8th. Me and my chainsaw are defiently in, anytime but we need someone on the outside to creat a alybie!!!

Planter and a clothes hanger are just about in the same category. I wonder if I could talk old navey into trading me my 91 4x4 for theirs?

But jez, I hope those guys know how easy it is to get the 51 1ton out of Old Navy. The montanas 1949 is going to be a challenge.

We'll have to set up a pulley system then tie the 1949 to someones truck outside, when we get the floor cut out beneath the 1949, then back up the truck outside to lower the 1949. The Old Navy crew just has to move some clothes.

Heck, just do it out in the open. One a you dress up in a business suit, and have a couple of other members in white shop coats with Old Navy imprinted on the back. Ask for the manager, hand him/her your phony Old Navy business card, and tell him/her that you are swapping trucks.

Have a car hauler with another old truck on it parked out front. Push the F1 out the door, unload the other truck, winch the F1 onto the car hauler. Then drive the other truck and the car hauler away. Bye Bye!

Swapping trucks, brilliant!

As for montanas, as long as there is suspension under it, cut er down, let er bounce then rol er out
