What is the trailer weight and tongue weight for the factory rear step bumper on my 85 bronco? also, what class is the factory hitch?

have you looked for a sticker in the glove compartment,door jam,under hood,passenger door frame ?
There has to be something on the truck telling you that info.

For my 95 Bronco, the factory towing guide says that the rear bumper is good for 4000 lbs trailer weight and 400 lbs tongue weight. With a Class III box hitch the max is 6600 and 600. I would think the numbers would be the same for your truck.
