I may be the only one who has this opinion....

but that truck is FUGLY!!!

BUT those specs are darn impresive...would be interesting to see what the production version looks like...and how well the driveline will hold up to that kind of horsepower.....

I don't know if anyone else has looked at anything that Chip Foose does, but if its got his name on it, expect it to be over-priced, and over-hyped.

Do they realize that 22" will hurt the speed of the truck? Why are they putting a 4speed behind it. The SRT-10 had a 6 speed I believe, the idea was "great power, with decent gas mileage (for a v-10!)".

I don't know, I am just not real impressed. The great thing about the Lightning, is that it just kicked butt, and looking good was just a bumper, rear lights, and different seats. With Foose, its all about the bling, and then a 10 year old motor with a super charger.

My two bits, hope I don't offend!

Thumbs up

I like the looks, and the power would be awesome. Foose name does carry a heavy price tag. I think I will just put a supercharger on mine, and be happy.

I'm not crazy about the stripes, but that isn't 'fugly'

The Aztec was fugly.

But I think they are limited in what they could do by the price tag- I don't think Foose could do many things different body-wise for what Ford would be able to upcharge- the damn things are already $40,000 trucks.

yeah, that is far from fugly. It looks like a nice lowered "street" truck. although Foose does go crazy with the stripes sometimes, and I don't care for them on this truck.

nothing Foose does is Fugly....EVER....he's the man that made it what it is today....

specs are nice...seams like he prolly dropped the Rousch SuperCharger on it especially since it's commign from ford that way....Ford would want to use that unit....works well and makes good power....

should be pretty neat to see that on the road...beat up on the stupid Rice Burners...

I agree about ditching the 22"s and put a different tranny on it. But Ford doesn't have a auto tranny that could handle the abuse and being able to drive a manual is a dying art.

well, i don't think it's "fugly"... i really like the styling and lowered look of it. granted, i personally wouldn't use it for any offroading, but...

btw, those rims need to go. i'm not feeling 'em...
