I have an 88 F-150 with a 300- 6 cylinder . Went over as rough set of railroad tracks and truck died and won't start fuel pump not getting any juice checked fuel pump relay cut off up under dash and it wasn't tripped but i'm not even getting any power to the relay any help on this would be appreciated.
I had a similar problem on an 89. I found the eyelet on the solenoid was crudded up. I disconnected the solenoid, cleaned and reinstalled. The truck fired right up afterwards.
thanks for all the info guys but i found the problem it was a bare(burnt wire running off the high pressure fuel pump. but thanks for all the help I appreciate it
