"Ford now offers a power sliding rear window, but they're only available in Lariats...what's up with that?!?!? Just make them an option for everyone. I think the guys who make decisions at Ford must smoke alot of crack."
I know a guy who works at a body shop and picked me one up with one tiny scratch on it. Its a Leer Brand I think power rear slider with tint. I put it in and wired it up in about 30 minutes. I love it esp. where my truck is a crewcab
I've been toying with the idea of a power sliding rear window since I got my truck nearly 4 years ago. It's just impossible for me to even come close to reaching it, and I love to hear those stacks through the rear window. Being able to open it from the driver's seat would be a real plus.
I can reach it if I'm at a stoplight, hit the full recline, and streeeeettttttcccch. Problem is I can remember at least 2 times I've done that and felt a kink in my side. I don't do it anymore.
Don't know about you guys but I love havin' that slider open and the front passenger window open 2-3" this time of year. I really gets the air circulating without stuff flyin' out the windows.
Good to know someone at least makes one -- another thing on the PSM list.
Craig64, me too. I open the window and leave it open in the warm weather. I can lock my truck without worrying if someone will break in. The burglers would have to go through the steel grate on the headache rack to get in.
