That is probably the quote from the movie 'Dazed and Confused',it was released in 1993 and is often on during the wee hours and on weekends.Pretty good look at high school 1976 in a small Texas town.The quote is from Matthew McConaughey's character (Wooderson),who graduated the year before.


"That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age."


My first vehicle was a '61 ford Econoline van with a very small 6-cylinder in it.I bought it for $300 in 1978 and I sure wish I still had it.I could push start it by myself on level ground.My girlfriend hated being seen in it so I did my best to keep her in the back.In Louisiana you could get your license @ 15 and I got mine and moved a few months later,making me the envy of all my new classmates in Memphis where the driving age is 16.
