Tire/Wheel Size

OK yall here is what I want to do. I have a 95 Ford Ranger 4x4 with a 3" Body lift. I believe I can fit 32's on there now with no rubbing. Will 33's fit?

I want to know (as im kind of clueless) what size wheel i should get and tire. I dont want to go over 33's if those fit. I want my tires to stick out from the trucks body a little bit. SO with that info can you guys please help me in selecting a wheel and tire size?

THANKS ALOT YALL

Alright, I am neither a 4x4 expert, nor a "big tire" kind of guy, but maybe this will help. Click Me.
I am sure it is probably not socially acceptable to link to another site, but I thought it might help.

Also remember that your speedo will be off quite a bit so you have 2 options:
1) have it re-calibrated (if possible)
2) swap out your ring & pinions to correct for the difference

You will loose fuel economy and acceleration with the larger tires. Option #2 can "help" minimize the effect.

I have a stock 04 that I havent even cranked the t-bars on and I run 32x11.50x15s with almost no rubbing(have to hit a big bump with the wheels cranked before I get a smidge of rub) and I would think that on a 95 with a 3" lift, you could run a 33x10.50 or 33x11.50 on a 15x8 wheel with little or no issues.

Would those stick out from the truck a little bit?

If it did it would be minimal. My truck came stock with 31x10.50x15s and I put the 32x11.50x15s on there and kept the stock wheels but I have factory fender flares so I don't know how far yours would stick out. A lot of it would depend on the offset of the wheel.

on the 95 the 2 areas they would scrub would be the fenders or the radius arm. i know you can run 33x12.50 on 4 inches of lift with 4" offset rim. not too sure about on 3 though. 12.50 stick out about 2"-2.5" past the fenders on the gen 1 rangers which is about 3" more narrow in the body than the gen 2 ranger. they would still be pronounced but not jutting out. personal opinion only from 28-31 inch tires go 10.50 from 32-36 go 12.50 37-39 for 14.5 and 40-44 inch tires go 16.50. this way to me keeps them looking proportionate. nothing looks more goofy than a lifted truck with tall skinny tires. this is my opinion. plus i have always like the way foot print for off-roading. also there are ways to play with the rims to change the actual hight of the tire. for example you can by a 42" swamper and the min rim is 10" wide and you can buy a 44 with min rim of 12" mount the 2 tires on the min rim and there is only a 1/2 difference is over all hight of the tire. and 42s are cheaper than 44s. so just like the 33x12.50 if you mount them on 10" wide rims they will be taller than ones of the same size mounted on 12" wide rims. so its not just the tire size you have to look out for but you rim combo that will determine if it fits or not.

*edit* also just because it fits and turns lock to lock and hits nothing doesnt mean it will work, i have seen ppl do this and the first bump or a good amount of suspention travel bottom the tire against the fender. dont forget that it has to go up and down as well as turn left to right, it would make for a bad day to hit the bump stops on the suspention after the tire took the fender off. and dont forget the rear is solid axle the more one side goes down the more the other goes up and you can rub the tops of the fenders here as well as the inner fender against the bed.
