I`ve checked all the fuses under hood and replaced the worn out power window switch-driver`s door on our 98 Ranger XLT Supercab. Still can`t get the windows to work, no action at all.
Any ideas that I might try, any where else to look next?
They were working ok, except the driver`s side was slow and sometimes didn`t work till we played with the switch abit, then it would function. Not working now after being parked for the winter.
For starters, access the driver's side master window switch and, with the ignition in ACC or RUN postion, check for 12V at the LB/BK wire. This is the main power feed.
Do the same for passenger side window switch on the same color wire.
If you do not get battery voltage at the LB/BK wires, then it might be a relay problem further up the line. There are several relays involved in the circuit - battery saver, acessory delay, and one-touch down.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking is not as simple fuses. Time to get shop manual.
