Power locks only lock?????

Power locks only lock?????
Hey guys, I have a 88 Bonco XLT. My new problem is that the drivers side power door lock switch will only lock the doors(intermittently), and the passenger side does nothing. Would this be the switches? or something else. I did do some trouble shooting last night. I jumped 12vdc to the lock solenoids on both sides, and they do work. I also have good ground to the switch and 12vdc to the center wire. I believe it is the switches, but would like some confirmation before I go to FORD and give them more of my hard earned money. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the switches. But before you shell out the cash, I have had good luck taking the switches apart and cleaning the contacts, and bending the tabs to make sure they are making good contact. Many times the tabs on the switches are not touching anymore when you press the button because they were bent from years of use. I mean, there is not much to the switch.
