Question Problem With my brakes?

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum but I have a question I couldn't find answer for(I haven't had alot of time to search). My '05 F350 is making a popping or clunking while running. It does it while running down the highway or at a stop. It can be felt in the brake petal and it is coming from the front end. I think it is related to the ABS system (my guess). It almost feels like something is cycling within the system (about every two to three minutes). The interesting part is I notice no difference in the brakes. The vehicle stops straight and the pedal is as firm as the day I bought it. Does anyone have ideas or am I heading to the shop? Thanks

Is your A/C or Heater on when this is happening?

Moved from the 6.0L section

You should get a better response up here in the SuperDuty section.

I didn't even think of that. It is related to the AC. Do I have a problem with AC pump? I have no idea how to diagnose that. All i know is the AC system works the same as it did when I bought the truck (minus the thumping). Thanks for making that tie.

No.. Its not bad.. You may/may not of noticed it before.. Mine does it and I've had service check it.. Theres nothing wrong with the A/C Compressor.. It just makes a thump every few seconds.. I tend to ignore it now as my A/C stays cool still
