Pretty simple.... disconnect 2 hose in engine bay...... remove 6(+) screws on cover under the glove box........ remove the heater core...... save foam piece..... install new heater........ connect hoses ... close cover up. For possible cavitation of heater elimination ...... wrap a copper wire around one of the heater tubes and attach free end to ground........ this info from a TSB

I appreciate the info, I am grateful that I won't have to disassemble the dash to get to the core.You had said to attach a copper wire to the return piping from the heater core to the radiator ? Am I to assume this will prevent electrolysis, thereby preventing premature corrosion of the aluminum body of the heater core?
