tire upgrade question
i came across a really cheap pair of 38.5 x 16 x 15 inch super swampers. i was wondering what i am going to have to do to be able to get them to fit under my 1984 bronco. i want to get everything on there once and not have to make a bunch of adjustments and losing money.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-Mar-02 AT 08:38 PM (EST)]Aside from a 6" lift and body lift, front end part changes, changing the gears to accomodate those monster tires and the amount of brake pressure required to stop them......not to mention the bite in your mileage..... your choice. Oh and the wheels....

You forgot to mention lots of spare axles and U joints unless you plan on upgrading to a D60! 35" tires are about the max on the Dana 44 with the weight we are pushing with the Bronco! I have dreams of 44" tires myself but I need the D60 first, gears, Detroit Locker, a small lift, some serious fender trimming and probably a whole list of things I forgot to mention. More to it than just bolting them on unfortunately. I do know a guy who trimmed out his fenders to fit 35's though and he loves it. Nuff said.. NORM
