Help please.
How goes it fellas. I am having some trouble with this new 88 i just bought. I know this is the FE forum and all but nobody in the L6 forum is really helpin. I have always had great luck with yall in the fe forums, so any input would be helpful thanks fellas. Heres the think. Thanks again

Back when I had my 88 5.0 it did the same thing. The car would run ok for close to an hour. Then spit and sputter. I'd let it sit and then it would run ok for a bit then the same thing. I replaced the stator in the dizzy and numerous other things (ing mod, filters, etc...) but it ended up being the computer. Might not be the same in your case tho. Oh no bad codes showed up because the computer was not reading them....as it was bad. So the tech guys told me there was nothing wrong?? LOL. At the same point in time when the car was running poorly...it was stolen from work and found abandoned in downtown New Haven. My guess the thief took the car and it started to spit,sputter and stall. And quicky dumped it. I don't think it would have been recovered otherwise. So it sorta worked as a anti theft device also. LOL. Hope you get things sorted....
