My '95 F150 had the motor swapped right before I bought it. I was courious if there is any way to ID what year model the motor came out of. It is a 351W. I could not find an answer using the search function, close but no answer.

Thats the same thing i was going to ask. I have an 89 here the guy told me a 95 engine was swapped. Is there any castings to look for? Stickers on the valve covers are gone. The guy couldnt get the truck started so it sat in his garage for the past 6 years. I know firing orders afre differnt on later 351,s. Just wondering if there is anything to look for to limit some head scratching. I plan to take it out and put it in a 97 f250.
