Ive bought 2 @ Ebay. Changed mine over to telescopic-power-heated cheaper than buying 1 standard mirror @ Ford. Just make sure if your buying only 1 side that the cosmetic boot matches. The stock mirror has the 2 knuckles consealed in the boot. Some aftermarkets have them exposed.

Ebay is your best bet $150.00 for a set.

I have (2) 99.5 door mirrors, in storage, in case someone is looking for the non-telescoping ones. Good shape.

If interested shoot me a mail..

I would get the from these guys www.powerstrokeshop.com Good prices and great product. The ebay ones could be a gamble. I have heard some of them are not as solid...

good luck,
Steven

agree e-bay is a good source, I bought each of mine for around $45 each. I had to wait around 5weeks to install since it took a while to find quality stock ones.If your patient you can find good deals

Your right ebay is a great source for these mirrors. But you have to be carefull for the knock off style mirrors. I have heard lots of guys complaining about their mirrors not feeling as solid as they should be. rattling down the highway.... Just a cheaper version of the stock ones... They still work though.

I agree I was talking about stock mirrors, I too read the knockoffs sucked at high speeds so I waited to find stock ones....

do you mean if you look at the back of the mirror the two knuckles are covered so you can't see them? i'm checking ebay right now and have to bids going. one is with the knuckles covered and the other isn't. both say they are from the dealer and are oem. which would be better?

I admittedly made a mistake when ordering mine off of e-bayf or my '01 F250. Be sure you take the door panel off and see what kind of connector you have if your's are power. Mine is square but there are also round ones too. Know which one you have before you buy, recieve and try to install. Now iIhave to pay shipping and a 20% restocking fee to get the right one or maybe splice the new one in. Considering it will cost me just over half what I paid for it, I think I will give the splice a try.

I hope this will help anyone out in my situation. I posted earlier that I ordered the mirror with the round connector instead of the square one like I needed. I spliced them with success. The wire colors were the same and the mirror works great. This saved me an extra $40 by not having to reship and restock. Hope this can help someone else!

You can splice those or just buy the adapter plug. You don't need a whole new mirror. You can get those adapter plugs from www.powerstrokeshop.com
