Just ran the codes, and a bunch came back the first time. So I cleaned what I could and now I'm just getting code 88 ( loss of dual plug input control ). I'm guessing that must mean that one of my coils isin't working properly, or at all.
I also haven't been able to locate the ECT sensor. It's not in the heater hoses, or the intake manifold as the manual states. I've looked and looked can't seem to find it anywhere. Wondering if maybe someone took it off or something. Do'es anyone have any idea's?
Thank's, Dean
ps. Oh, by the way, I have a 91 Ranger 2.3 fuel injected, electronic ignition. I guess that might help,
Yea my temp guage do'es work, and I just looked in my manual for the thermostat, and see the ECT right beside it. I don't remember seeing it on my truck like that, but will check first thing in the morning. Thank's for the help.
