i'm getting ready to order the HPX line. my question is should i get the hard line tubing (itp diesel has a nice one) or the braided steel flex line that a few sponsers sell? i've read that you have to replace the flex steel line every year, i'd rather not have to spend money every year to replace the line. just wondering what everyone thought.
i ordered the ss line from itp... we'll see what happens... i have a 'metal tapping' noise when at idle. i have no idea what it is, but performance is fine. i'm hoping that the hpx will balance out the oil pressure and the noise will go away. does anyone have any ideas on what it is? could it be the number 8 injector?
unless your a chugger, its not even a 1 beer job. got also got the IPT HPX with no problems. course I had to have a second beer to celebrate on a job well done. lol

I have had this mod going on four years now, and have the braided HP hose. I have never heard that you have to change it yearly, Am I in the dark? Do i need to change my HPXOVER hose? No runs No drips No oil in valley, whats up with the change yearly?
I put the SS HPX in last weekend. 30min job. Idles nicer than before the change.
Next to go is the Regulated Return kit, ITP is not selling it now, have to go for the DI Performance one.
ITP is updating there kit for biodiesel compatibility should be ready soon
Not only will the new Regulated Return setup be BioD compatible, it will also have some other changes to coincide with the fuel bowl delete we've developed, all kits will clear Terminator/Stealth HPOP systems, the valley will be almost completely free of fuel lines (can't be 100% if you keep the bowl), etc. It's a worthwhile update to the system that's just taking longer than expected.
