Stalling over speed bumps?

Stalling over speed bumps?
I'm having an issue where whenever I go through a "bump" (like rolling off of a curb, etc) the engine stalls.....If i rev as I go, I can prevent it....but why is this happening...does not seem like off road would be much fun at all like this!

Take a peak in the carb. If you are lucky, you won't tear the gasket. A minor error in fuel level will do funny things when the gas sloshes around.
Just wiggle your wires around at an idle to see if there is a loose connection.

I had a similar problem in an old Datsun pickup years ago. Turns out the top half of the carb body was moving around. The screw holes that hold the top to the bottom were stripped out. I got a used carb body and rebuilt it and problem solved. Grab your air cleaner and see if you can rotate it. If so you may have the same thing i did or the carb just isn't tight to the manifold.
