master cylinder
I have a 78 bronco. Could anyonr tell me in the master cylinder off a newer truck in the bone yard would bolt and work? Its kind of a last minute thing or I would just buy a new one. I'm going to the badlands in 2 weeks and short on cash. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Buy a rebuilt one! Don't bet your life on a used one just before a trip. The cost between a rebuilt and a junk yard one will be close. I would get the right part the first time and not have to do it twice.

I agree with Bob. Having the cash or not, I wouldn't put my life on any used parts for the brake system. They are the most important part of the vehicle, and endangering your life to save some cash is not worth it IMHO.

hey brother you can bolt on a f-350 booster and master cyl.
from the same year and dramaticlly increase your braking power
but the fittings are on the oppisite side and one fitting is a
different size nut.
its not much work for the benifit
