I'm going to pull it out and start working on it sometime this summer. Got to get my lawn tractor running, and maybe fix some more of what's wrong with it (brakes would be kind of neat, I guess, and it'd be cool not to have to fill the crankcase more often than the gas tank).
But for what I've lost in financial aid, I could damn near buy a new Ranger, so I might not have the funding to get the bike on the road this year.
I myself would would hook it up with the crown vic...A marauder would be even nastier!! then again if you have 30 grand kickin' around, let me know....I was going to do a zf swap in my truck, but I bought a quad instead (1994 Polaris Trailboss 250...) When or even if my C6 takes a dump, out she goes, hello ZF5!!! Or maybe a full manual valve bodied C6 with a GV overdrive, that would be sweet too. Then again, I long to dump the clutch on something that won't snap in half....been such a long time....I'll catch hell if I do it on our new Milan..not that I would.
Wait, lawn tractor? By any chance does this lawn tractor have a OHV Briggs & Stratton? I 've had that happen to three of my OHV briggs engines. One 14.5 HP one 15.5 HP and a 13.5 HP...always seem to leak right at the crankcase because the bolts rattled out...Nice huh?
I don't have 30 grand kicking around, I've got to find it (over the next two years).
Naw, my tractors are too old to be OHV, one's a 10 horse Kohler that's tough as nails, but about worn out now (it's got so much blowby it practically pumps oil out the breather), and the other's got a 10 horse Tecumseh.
