shortest trans- transfercase length
I'm trying to gather all the items I'll need for a future project and was wonder what the shortest trans- transfer case combo that will bolt up to the 2.3 L that Ford made. I decided that for this idea I want to use a FI 2.3L for a light weight short wheel base 4x4 and will obviously need a short set up to fit in it. I was thinking that a Bronco II of Ranger would be the place to look but not sure of what years to look for, mid 80s. I don't need an overdrive setup.
