New Edge Evolution for 7.3L???'s

New Edge Evolution for 7.3L???'s
OK I know the DP tuner is "The best" for the 7.3L but I want a Monitor and the new EDGE Evolution has it all and I dont really car about max power just a good monitoring device that reads codes and has some adjustibility. Any Body got the new Evolution for the '99 to 2003 7.3Ls??Plus getting the Dp and guages would cost more than just getting the Edge.

just installed one in a customers truck and it is sweet. Custom molded pod fits beautifully and it installs extremely easily. It is usb updateable, has the infinite color change for the lcd display and has three tunes in it. My customer loves it, but do note it will not defuel for egt like the juice and you have to shut down to change power levels, it is a programmer after all.

Thanks! Thats ok cause I will only play with the settings until I find the one I like the best....so how is all the monitoring functions?....I am still partial to real gauges but this has to be the "best bang for the buck" with all the parameter monitoring. Thanks again for the input.

pretty sweet you can choose any where from 2-4 to display and there are so many things you can monitor including trans, temp, egt, boost, volts, to many to list. Plus it does 0-60 and 1/4 mile and the 1/4 mile is like a drag strip christmast tree. Neat stuff.

The new Evolution looks like the Edge Attitude controller or like the Evolution for the new F-150's and the 6.0L PSD.

For those of you that did not make it our Smokin Event this past weekend, keep an eye out on our website. We will be posting on our site real soon the New Edge Evo C availability. Only available through DP-Tuner. It will be available for 7.3l,6.0,and 5.4l. The evo will be available with DP-Tuner tunes on it. You will also be able to have the standard Edge tuning on it as well. We will be offering both.

What are you guys gonna do different than Edge? Is the Evolution gonna keep the same functionality but just have custom tunes from DP? And what about tuning the trans, do you guys spend time on the transmision tunes? I hear lots about Edge being a good company except for tuning the trans for the added power.

Yes Edge does make an excellant product. Looks wise and functionalty. All the same features will be on it. It is still the New Evo. Only things is now Jody will be able to custom tune it.

You will have Edge's same great product, but you can have Jody put his tunes on it. If you don't want that, then you can still buy the New Evo the way it is.
