Question

Sensitive Accelerator pedal

My '97 Powerstroke with a 5 speed manual trans. has developed a very sensitive acc. pedal. I have no problems in cruse or when pulling a load. I put in a new cam sensor about 10,000 miles ago so I don't think it's that. Could it be my accelerator pedal position sensor or is that to simple?

Do you mean that the pedal itself has gone soft or that when you touch the pedal it responds quickly?

It accelerates and deccelerates with-out any noticable movement of the pedal.
