Yes it has the tailgate step. The cap is at the same level as the roof of the cab. My nic jawdoc is because im an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Im trying to find out how to put pics on here to show you my truck/cap combo.

I practice in central NY state in a rural community and I love it. I did Dental school and Medical school in Buffalo. I have made many trips to Detroit for the Misch course and to Ann Arbor for the Moyer Symposium.

Look 4ward 2 a pic of that! I have a 450 ordered and plan on the cab high style but I know because of the new tailgate that some/all? topper companies R having 2 deal w/ the shape of the tailgate top edge where the new step pulls out! Local ARE dealer is "chomp'n" at the bit 2 get them 4 customers. Have 2 check into Leer! Thanx
