white exhaust valves
I have an 88 5.8L, wondering if a white deposit or build up on the exhaust valves is a bad thing or not. I thought I read or was told somewhere along the line that this is from cracked heads or gasket.

Had the head cleaned already can't see the color anymore. I'll just rebuild it, run it till it blows and but a new engine in it. Can buy a remaned for $1600, and found that they don't make new crate 351's anymore so I might just have to get a 347.
