Airbag light 1996 Explorer
I'm helping a friend with a 1996 Explorer, 4.0. The airbag light is on. I counted the flashes and it's 52. Which according to this post I found

Well she's been having an intermittent problems starting, and had to jump it, but only every few days. We had the battery tested today and it's fine, but the alternator isn't providing suffiecent voltage. Her connectors on her battery terminals were very coroded though so I thought it might be that and not a bad alternator. So today I replaced the connectors. Anyway could this be the cause of the airbag code? I've heard rumors but does the '96 have OBDII?
Right now I've told her to disconnect the Neg. battery cable for at least 15 minutes and reset the computer, then watch and see if the airbag light comes back on. Would be nice if it were only a couple battery connectors.
