4.6 vs 5.4 Experience ??

Wrong forum, dude. You need any of the '97-up forums, but I believe they'll tell you that the early truck 5.4s shoot plugs out, and the 4.6 doesn't have enough power to get out of its own way. The newest 5.4s get pretty good power and mileage, I don't know about reliability, but I've heard they're a pain to work on.
