390 And 460 Do Not Use The Same Bell. 351m And 400 Use The Same Bolt Pattern as the 460, But Would Have No Idea About Using The Hydrolic Set Up As I Don't Believe 351m And 400 Ever Using It.
it's a big ol' mess, but i got it pulled off. I don't know what deal with the 351/400/460 is, but on a 390 there are two bolt holes where the Zbar bracket mounts to the block. I built a bracket off of these holes, some 1/4 plate, and the stock slave bracket.
The only pointer i can really give you is convert your bellhousing to use the ball pivot and use the throw out arm that is supposed to go with a hydraulic clutch, i didn't and this has been the core of all of my clutch problems. I got it all working, but it really took some doing.
