New to the board and seek help with headlight replacement on my '96 F-150.
Did a search and the post with a link to a diagram had the link removed.
1. Where else can I look for detailed direction or a diagram?
2. Any feedback on after market headlight assemblies? JC Whitney in particular has the lowest price. (I'm a 58 yr old redneck and not interested in any of those blue lookin' headlights)
3. Is there some sort of diagram or specification to use when aiming the headlights? (I have overload springs on the rear, which changed the 'rake' of the truck)
3' high at 3' from the bumper is my setting. If you hold a peice of card board infront of the lights you will see line of light that is more intense the rest of the light. You want that to be 3' off the ground, 3' from the truck. You will have to adjust from that is the truck is lifted or lowered.
I don't remember what parts came with those imported ones I ordered for a friend of mine. However, it's usually a simple job.
