transponder box

can any tell who has 05 ford e-350 15 passengervan xlp super duty
where are the transponder box is located at on this model
becouse my remote entery stoped working i put new batery
in it and it still does not work it sayes that you can reprogram it your self
it sayes in manuel i want to know how to go about doing it
ford dealer wants to much of $$$$$$$$$$$$ why should spend $$$$ this
that i could do it my self the hell with the dealer

Did you try a different battery like I suggested in your other thread? If you did and it still doesn't work I am guessing that your remote might be broken. I just went to ebay and did a search for Ford Remote and it came back with about 1500 of them, most for under $15. I would buy one and try it. If that still doesn't work then it is probably a problem with your van, and I can't help you with that.

Are your power door locks working? My VSM kicked the bucket and my keyfobs and doorlocks stopped responding.

The reprogramming sequence should be turn the key on/off 8 times in 10 seconds and the press the unlock on all of your fobs. http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vd...pageid=&gutsid= you can find your owners guide here.

I'm pretty sure his power door locks are working. He posted this problem the other day too, and I tried to help him but I don't think he understands. He said that if he does the programming sequence his doors lock/unlock to say that it has entered programming mode, but he cant get his remote to work. I told him it's most likely a battery issue, or his remote is bad.

Then the transmitter is has issues and probably needs to be replaced. I have seen sweat corrode the terminals and distory parts inside of them.

i just got my new remote from ebay i am still haveing problems
it came with programming procedures
sayes turn ignittion from off to run 8 times within 10 secondes with the 8th
time ending in run all doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode the confuseing sayes within 20 seconds press any button 1st remote
transmiter door locks will cycle to confirm programming
within 20 seconds but i only have one transmitter
do i hold down the button for 20 seconds or whait 20 seconds then press
button

Press the button on the new remote once within 20 seconds of the locks cycling locked to unlocked (after you do the 8 times ignition cycle). The locks should cycle locked an unlocked when you press the button on the new remote. If they don't then there is an issue with the reciever in your truck and I can't help you anymore. (I assume you have already checked all fuses using a tester not just with your eye)
