Arrow 6.4L - Flame Thrower as Standard Equipment? - Video...

Maybe Ford should start including fire extinguishers as standard equipment also.

absolutely unbelievable! Are we living in 2007, pinch me! Did I just see what I saw? WOW, man you guys I feel really bad that Ford has dropped the ball and put out crap for a new first year diesel engine again! I would be so upset if I just dropped 50k on a new 6.4! What a bummer, I feel so bad for you guys who own one of these things! The flames are cool but I just sit and think what if that were my 50k truck, Oh man I would be flaming pissed!

HOLLY ^*&%(*)!!!!!!

I've hears of this, but I didn't think it was this bad!!

And we wonder why the fuel consuption is up. This is the kind of stuff that could make it to the evening news. If ford isn't carefull this is something that could affect it's reputation.

The truck didn't sound too good either....

I would say that this engine could have been from the run with improperly torqued injectors that were mentioned. Result being a broken injector, pouring fuel and lighting up.

Man, that's no joke! Like the others said, I thought it was just going to be a little flame...Not a Flamethrower

the link may not work for some but you need to disable the popup thing on your browser.
i got mine to work.

that is one nasty video. those are some bigtime flames. ford should really hang their heads even if only a handful of them have done this so far. i hope they figure out soon what is causing it.

that was a dealership too. lol. i bet the techs had a good laugh over that. imagine being employeed by a company producing that? that would really burn someone if you are parallel parked and you start it up and it does it, if there is a sidewalk.

I agree with some above comments, that truck didn't sound very good at all. it was knocking and not a good diesel knocking, my 6.0 sounds great compared to that truck.

Now all we need is an aftermarket grill attachment and it will be perfect for tailgating at ballgames. LOL
