cab similarities

cab similarities
I have a 1972 standard cab that has damage to the front of the cab from a front-end collision. I also have a 1974 standard cab that has damage to the rear of the cab, but the front is fine. My question: Is the front of the cab the same for both years, that I could patch the 72 by using the firewall, cowl, and front windshield from the 74 cab? I know there are some differences with the doors and the rear of the cab, but just eye-balling it the front walls look the same.

CT, Go to your states forum and let the folk there know you are in need of a cab. Someone there might have one for cheap.

CT, I live north of you in South Dakota. If you have problems finding a good cab in your area let me know, there's a few of them around here that can be had fairly reasonable. Let me know if you need any help finding a suitable donor....
