The 86 Stang 5.0 had true flattops with no valve reliefs, the std 5.0 had a slightly dished piston also without reliefs. Both these motors had E6SE heads. The std E6 headed 5.0 was also used up to the end of the 5.0 in the full size Ford. Lincoln & Merc lines. Some of these were also used in trucks.
