Question Too much input.....NO ANSWER

I recently bought an 85 F-350 dually Flatbed. The clutch went out right away, so I started to order a clutch. Do you see where this is heading? So I get asked a simple question? "What kind of motor do you have"? I did a little research and found that it was sold with a 5.8L 351, I don't recall if it was a Windsor, Cleveland, or Modified. However my truck has 330,000 miles on it so I wasn't sure it was the original motor, so I took the clutch out (w/ some help THANKS A LOT from a dip$#!% friend of mine) and found out that it was an 11". Ok, so I order the clutch and the salesman says "Oh yeah you've got a 460". Am I up a creek now? Oh I ordered the clutch from Indiana I live in Oregon. There are no marks that I can see on the block, heads, door jams, hood, the firing order is on the intake which says to me that it's either a 351 or 400. How do I tell which and is the 400 a big block?

Big block/Small block are chevy terms.

The 351M/400 shares the large bell housing pattern with 429/460's. 351W shares the small bell pattern with 302's.

Count the number of bolts holding one of your valve covers on.
6 - 351W
7 - 460
8 - 351M/400
