wheel off set
im looking to buy some 20s for my 03 f350 most of the rims ive been looking at have a 4.5 or a 5.0 off set with a 20x10 rim size. i need to keep the tires as far in the wheel wells a possible. im going to be running a 35x12.5 tire. how far will these stick out and what off set would you guys/gals recommend? id like to be no further than 2 inches out of the wheel wells, thats about where my last truck was and i didnt get bothered to bad by the police. thanks

I have 17x10's with a 5.2 backspace. The actual tire tread is 1-1/4" outside the fender. The shoulder of the tire adds another 3/4". A 4.5 backspace on a 10" rim is going to show a full 2" of exposed tread, plus the shoulder. This is on the front. The rear is a little less. I would suggest a 20x9 w/ 4.5" bsp or a 20x10 w/ 5" bsp.
