4WD high

Where would you start looking for problems with 4WD high. I can get into Low Range, but not high. My girl is a 96 5.8 with push button.

check for pinched wires under driver seat if ok check shift motor. let me know

4WD high

This may not help but I was stuck one time and really needed 4-low and she wouldn't go. The next day I got under the truck and unplugged/plugged the wire loom and it's worked fine ever since then. I hadn't used 4-low in about 9 months, now I use it at least once a month.

Thanks for both of these tips. It's thunderstorms all weekend, so looks like I'll be waiting till next week to check the wires and shift motor.
