SCT Livewire (PoP!)
I'm so freakin p/o'd over this damn thing.. I'll be glad when Dfuser can custom tune if they ever get the software out.. So I get the new one, 101 firmware... Runs amazing! Dfuser did some tranny tweaks, thing screamed! I go and upgrade to the 104 firmware, they change the Power Tune file.. I loose some boost and no matter what I do with the WOT Shift points and Shift pressures, she acts like a turd! If you hammer it, shes good.. You start smooth shes good.. You go 40mph and then lay down to drop gears and get some torque she goes up a gear, down a gear, sling you forward/backwards and then finally stick her rear end in a damn gear.. I have tried every combination of settings, finally I got pissed off and put the PoP (Piece of Poop) back to Stock and said screw it.. I got a headache.. At WOT she runs 0-60 in 8sec with full tank, 200lbs of tools and 3 people with combined weight of 700lbs (of People)..
Ugh.. I'm flipping pissed off... I got tired of trying due to I dont want to slam the torqueshift up trying to find the sweet spot.. I had it then I went screwin with it and forgot what I set it to..

That's one thing I've learned playing with electronics, if you find a setting you like write it down before you start monkeying with it. Hope you guys get these things figured out, cause I am kind of interested in one. You should call SCT and ask for some money back for being their beta testers

I'm not familiar with the SCT, but can you not blow the firmware back to 101 ?
Or is that a pointless excercise?

Turns out I may be in luck.. Someone (wont name names) happens to possibly have the 101 Firmware.. He's going to email it to me so I can flash back to Factory until the software is released for dealers to custom tune.. I will be SO FREAKING happy if it works...
But this last tank of fuel which I've hammered the hell out of testing this SCT.. Put me from 12.7 to 14.8 MPG.. So I saw an improvement.. I like that
