Talking what should i get???

i am going to get a super duty this summer will do some truck pulling fairs,local truck pulls real big thing around here was wondering what you guys & gals think i should get DIESEL OR V10 will have some mods done

I used to have a V-10 before, now i have a 7.3. All i can say is, I will never go back to gas. just my .02

DIESEL..... I used to have a F150 5.4 ... I will never go back to gas.... I think the wife is even going to have to get a diesel car soon...maybe a bug...but that is a story for another day. Would get the superduty diesel.... just my $.02

I have a V10 and I wouldn't trade it for a oil burner. Gas is .10-.20 cheaper here, it cost's me less than $20 to change the oil, the V10 is a $600 option, not a $6,000 option, and when it's cold outside, mine doesn't have to be on the other end of an extension cord!!

Both have their place, no question. It's a matter of which one is better for you. Go check out the V10 forum here on FTE and check the 7.3 and 6.0 forum's. Then go drive one of each and decide for yourself.

Remember that the diesels are all about power and torque...look at what your needs are going to be. On the flip side, a gasser is cheaper to maintain. I've got both. When I want to haul or pull something....out pops the diesel...if it's just puttin' around or running chores...fire up the gasser.
